We are off and running in a new year. It is exciting how God will show us His love and how He will use us to spread the Good News of the salvation that He offers to all. We would appreciate anything that you might be able to do to help with this mission.
We need prayers, financial help, and love. Click here to read the February Newsletter (pdf) ![]() The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 From heav'n above to earth I come, to bear good news to ev'ry home; glad tidings of great joy I bring whereof I now will say and sing: ‘Tis the season to be jolly Actually, it the time of the year when we bow our heads in thankfulness to God for bringing about His promised gift of salvation. Jesus born in a humble stable, lived here on earth experiencing all that we have to face, and finally at the cross and at His resurrection fulfills the promise made by God back in Genesis 3:15 as He talked to Satan, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Satan spent all his time trying to circumvent God’s plan, causing trouble, striking and nipping, so to say, at Jesus, but in the end Jesus said “It is finished,” God’s plan has been accomplished, Satan had been crushed, and He proved it by rising victoriously. Then right before He ascended into heaven He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20 That’s how we are to live our lives! That’s what we intend to do! May God continue to bless you as we work together to extend His Kingdom both here and in Mexico! Click here to read our December Newsletter (pdf) God is good! He presents us with challenges, creates the love in us through His Word, blesses us with our gifts, helps us to follow in His footsteps, and then promises us blessings because we followed His commandments to love.

Now how can they call on one in whom they have never believed? How can they believe in one of whom they have never heard? And how can they hear unless someone proclaims him? And who will go to tell them unless he is sent? Here are some of the things that have been going on recently in KIMA's ministry in our May newsletter (click here for pdf). Preaching to the choir? I don’t know who is a member of the choir and who needs to be reminded of what we are all about. I know that one of our key passages from the Bible is Romans 12:13. Putting that verse into the whole paragraph in which it is found we see the following:
Love in Action 9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. 10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. 11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. 12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. Romans 12:9-13 New International Version (NIV) That’s what it is all about! God is love! “God so loved the world that He gave…” The commandments are summed up with “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself.” Love, that’s what it is all about. Once you have truly experienced God’s love you can’t help but pass it on. People all too often talk about love but they don’t live it. For many there seems to be something more important than God and what He says. We think of ourselves. We place a higher value on things, money, or prestige. The words above speak of sincerity, clinging to what is good, honor, spiritual fervor, serving the Lord in hope, patience, and faithful prayer. And then, share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Blessings to each of you, your families, and your ministries. Rev. Norman Finke, Director of KIMA I pray that you have been having a glorious Christmas season and that all is well with you and your families. I apologize for not writing and sending you any Newsletters since back in October or November. I had a Lumbar Laminectomy done on L3, 4, and 5 of my spine back on November 15. I am finally home but still not able to get back to doing all things that I once did.
Things have been progressing down in Mexico and I wanted to share some of that with you in this January Newsletter (click here for pdf). I pray that all will continue to go well with you and your ministries. Rev. Norman Finke, Executive Director of KIMA Thank you for taking the time to read this month's newsletter (pdf - click here). I pray that it would inform you of some of the things that we are involved in in our ministry.
If you could, would you pass this along to others or maybe post it someplace where others might have a chance to read it. I believe that when God called us to be His children that He intended us to be active in His ministry. Here is one of many places that you might get involved. Blessings to each of you, to your family and friends, and on the ministries to which God has called you! Rev. Norman Finke Executive Director of Koinoneo Independent Mission Agency |
